Alfred T. Albano
Born and raised in nearby Bedford, New York, Fred Albano literally began his appliance career at the age of 10, when family-owned Albano Electric was still run by his father. He started selling at 16 and was already being groomed for ownership by the time he graduated from Siena College with a degree in marketing and management. He became an owner in 1997.
Driven by a love of food and cooking, Fred was instrumental in bringing on the pro-style appliance offerings that are so popular now. In his continued efforts to remain on the cutting edge, he was the first appliance dealer on the East coast to have a professional chef on staff. This move gave birth to the company's continuing education program, which includes culinary classes and manufacturer demos as well as private and in-home instruction for customers to get the best out of their appliances.
Fred lives with his wife and two children in South Salem, New York.
Phil DeRoberts
Phil DeRoberts began his career at Albano Electric in 1972 immediately following his service in Vietnam with the United States Air Force. He started with on-the-job-training as an electrician's helper. After several years, he transitioned into the appliance end of the business as a delivery person. This paved the way for his work as an appliance repair technician.
In 1987 he became manager of the company's appliance service department. Phil has been a partner with Albano Appliance & Service since 1997, when the company's electrical contracting service became a separate business.
Michael DiNapoli
Michael DiNapoli joined Albano Appliance & Service in 1998 and became a partner in 2007. He has been sales manager with the company since 1999 and oversees daily operations of the sales department. He joins Fred Albano and Phil DeRoberts as an owner.
Like his parents, Mr. DiNapoli is a lifetime Stamford, Connecticut resident. Prior to joining Albano Appliance, he owned a restaurant in Fairfield County for 21 years. He and his wife, a registered nurse and case manager at Stamford Hospital, have three sons.

In addition to our knowledgeable sales staff, we also offer installation of the appliances we sell. Our installers are factory trained and work closely with our customers to take the utmost care in getting the job done right (all while respecting customers' property). And, if Albano Appliance performs the installation on Miele and Viking products, customers enjoy an additional year on the warranty for free.
We even have a resident chef who conducts our continuing education program, which includes cooking classes, free manufacturer demonstrations as well as personal and in-home instruction on how to maximize appliance performance.
A factory-authorized service center, we dispatch our own service people for nearly all of the products we sell. The service department also stocks a large selection of appliance parts for over-the-counter sales.
Extended Warranty
Albano Appliance offers a 60 month extended warranty from date of purchase.
Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.
Appliances can be large, heavy, and expensive and you probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.
