However, if you have a disability we are here to help you. Please call our disability services phone line at 914-764-4051 during regular business hours and one of our kind and friendly personal shoppers will help you navigate through our website, help conduct advanced searches, help you choose the item you are looking for with the specifications you are seeking, read you the specifications of any item and consult with you about the products themselves. There is no charge for the help of this personal shopper for anyone with a disability. Finally, your personal shopper will explain our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and help you place an order if you so desire.

Continuing Education and Cooking Class Schedule

Learn how to use your appliances before and after you purchased them! Cooking Demonstration classes are free and open to all. Seating is limited and registration is required. Registration and cancellation for all classes closes 48 hours prior to event. Contact Chef Jehan or call 914-764-4051 and ask for Patty to register for all events. Instructors: Chef Jehan S de Noue With over 35 years in the restaurant industry, managing three star restaurants and owner of Chez Noue in Ridgefield CT, Chef Jehan manages the Manufacturer's Continuing Education Program, the cooking class and fund raising dinner events for local charities held in Albano Appliance's five live kitchens.

Jehan S. deNoue, our resident chef

Born and raised in France, Jehan S. deNoue has 35 years of experience in the cooking and restaurant business in the Connecticut / New York area. He spent years conducting cooking classes for The Complete Kitchen in Ridgefield, CT. He owned Chez Noue Restaurant in Ridgefield, CT from 1995 to 2001, was general manager of Terra Restaurant in Greenwich, CT from 2001 to 2003 and executive chef and general manager of Spy Rock (now Northstar) Restaurant in Pound Ridge, NY.

Since 2003 he has been Albano Appliance & Service's own resident chef where he manages the company's continuing education program. This includes cooking classes, manufacturer demonstrations and personal and in-home instruction.

He is also on hand in the sales department to answer any cooking and product questions you may have to help you get the most out of your appliances.


Please Note:

  • Continuing Education classes are offered with the compliments of Albano Appliance and the manufacturers. They start at 12 Noon or 6pm.
  • All evening cooking classes start at 7pm.
  • All day cooking classes start at 11am.
