I have an Electrolux canister vacuum, about 25 years old, and I've owned it for twenty years. It works great and has needed minimal upkeep. Recently the hose and wand finally wore out, and when researching replacements I found that the cost would be more than buying a new battery powered Electrolux unit. So even though I was satisfied with the canister model, I opted to buy the new battery powered unit.Upon using the new one a few times, I can see that there is no way that this unit will last twenty five years. Maybe this will last 3-5 years of normal use. And there is no way to replace parts, nor would it be financially feasible. The only option would be to throw this one out and buy a new one. This type of "disposable" manufacturing is disgusting. I used the canister model for twenty years, and it still works but the parts were just too expensive. I don't see how a hose and wand should cost more than an entirely new battery powered model.The new battery powered unit does not last long enough on a charge to vacuum my entire house, only 1268 sq ft. I have to stop in the middle to recharge for a few hours. Also, the cup filter has to be emptied after each use, while with the canister model I would replace the bag twice a year. And in the new unit there is a paper filter and I can see that I'll be buying new filters on a regular basis, which will cost more than the paper bag filters of the canister model. So this is designed to keep me buying from Electrolux, more than with the canister model.All in all, the battery one is quieter and easier to maneuver. No opinion yet on how well it actually vacuums. But I can see that this one will surely not last twenty five years. Looking back, I wish I would have bought a new hose and wand, despite the higher price, and who knows, maybe I would have gotten another fifteen or twenty years out the canister.

What I like most is the small head that maneuvers around small corners and spaces. However, this vacuum does not run longer than 15 mins on the second speed/power level. The suction is also low but then again, maybe that's how it's made.

I had a used Electrolux canister vac many years ago, and I loved it. I had it for quite sometime, but when it finally stopped working, we went with a regular "name brand" upright vacuum, I thought it worked great, until we switched back to Electrolux. The fine dirt that the Ergo Rapido pulled out of what I thought was a clean carpet blew my mind. I actually purchased another one for my parents. I will NEVER stray from Electrolux again. The power that is packed inside this little vacuum is amazing

this is the perfect size for daily clean ups and even heavy needs. The swivel head is smooth and easy to steer. The hand held pop off vacuum is super powerful and efficient. The cream color is gorgeous, almost to pretty to put in the closet.

I have a heavily shedding black Lab and really light colored floor tile, not a good combination! My main vacuum is heavy and hard to get out news for just a quick cleanup, and although I have a swiffer dust mop, I was spending a fortune on the refill dust pads. This has made a huge difference in my daily routine. It is so lightweight and so maneuverable is very easy to grab and in just a few minutes I can do a large area with no problem. We also live very near the beach here in Florida and sand tracked into the house is always an issue, but this back does an awesome job on the fine sand. It also lays down, flat enough to get under most of my furniture. The detachable hand vac is a real bonus as well! This is the best purchase I™™ve made in years.

I can grab it after dinner to sweep up crumbs without dragging out a heavy machine. I™™m 76 years old and have never had any other brand of vacuum cleaner! Electrolux is hands down the best. I bought my daughter the canister, just like mine, 31 years ago and she loves it and still uses it! Best tools ever, so efficient and easy to use. Don7waste your money on ANYTHING else!

I also thought it was a great vacuum for the price, but it stopped working under a year in. The suction isn't the greatest, but again, it's decent for the price, nice to maneuver, light, and doesn't take up much room. I loved the light on it while vacuuming, but again, it didn't last a year unfortunately.

I just purchased the Ergorapido so I have only used it for a couple weeks but I love it! The suction is good. It™™s very light and easy to use and the hand-held with the brush tip is great for small spots and floor surbases.

I bought one of these at least 10 years ago. I loved it but it finally wore out. I was thrilled when I found you still carried the same thing. I do believe this is definitely improved from my old one. It holds the charge enough for me to do my entire place. It™™s best feature is is picks up close to the baseboards. I absolutely would recommend this vacuum.

Love Love Love! This is my second Ergorapido and when this no longer works I will be buying a third :) It is perfect for my home and I use it daily to zip around and vacuum. My only concern is that I cannot find a replacement part ... I am trying to find the 2 in 1 crevice tool online to replace the original.

This vacuum is very handy for a quick touch up, My wife loves it. Light and easy to maneuver, Picks up dog hair like a champ. The only problem is they have a short life. Please make them with a replaceable battery because I am on my fourth and my last if this one stops working too quickly. You know this is a problem, yet you refuse to make them with replaceable batteries. Stop ignoring the problem and responding with the fakey platitudes to your unhappy customers.

Though I have only had it a week or so, I am using it quite a bit and love the suction strength. I have 2 cats and it helps keep my floors clean. In the 1980s I actually sold ELECTROLUX canister vacuums and was impressed by how powerful and excellent the brand was and is. So I was excited to have a new kind of Electrolux, very lightweight, yet ultra powerful and easy to maneuver.

I've bought 3 (one for a "pet" home) since I saw the ad on the Barron's website in August. WOW! I knew the brand because my mother used Electrolux. I clicked the button and ordered two to be sent to the home of a busy doctor with 2 kids and 2 dogs. Her 12 year old daughter uses it the most. I kept the white one. I sent another to a friend of mine who is very clean. So BRAVO Electrolux for "finding" me with your algorithms. I love that it is LIGHT, flexible, and sits attractively in the corner of my kitchen. The hand held vacuum clicks out easily and is just as convenient. I thought mind didn't come with a nozzle on the hand held - until my friend told me "I got one with mine." Hmm. Maybe it got tossed with the packaging. The customer relations team sent me one even though my call was outside the "1 month window.". Way to go Electrolux!!!
