Great Washer with Lots of Features

We bought our new LG Washer about a month ago and have been very pleased with it. I love the front loader. It cleans clothes in far less time than my old washer and the clothes are practically dry when I remove them from the washer. I love the digital panel and all the features. I also like how the washer communicates with the app on my phone and lets me know how much time is left in the cycle and when the load is done.

The washing machine cleans clothes just fine. I had one problem with the spin cycle that was resolved. It does get smelly if not cleaned monthly wiped down after every use and leave the door open in between each cycle. Never had to that or had an issue with my other front loader for over 10 years.

BUYER BEWARE Drain hose is to short.

I gave one star because I could not leave zero. When I bought this washer the picture shows a drainage hose that basically wraps around the back of the washer. The one I received is at least 2-3 feet shorter. I can not hook up my washer to use because of this. When I contacted LG all they did was send me a link https://www.lg.com/us/support/help-library/lg-washing-machine-installation-how-can-i-connect-and-extend-the-drain-hose-CT00000305-20153066384911?fbclid=IwAR3mtjFZWoc-vhxbV3U_G_Rgp8EfxUsb2xMNP_I5NVeMJ3SCuuW0t2QfWL0. The link basically says I need a hose extender. Guess what LG does not even make an extender I can not find any extenders that will work so now I just cant use my brand new washing machine. The washer works quickly and uses surprisingly little water. The app is great for letting me know my clothes are done if Im not close enough to hear the chime. Its a lot harder to level than youd expect and harder than other washers Ive installed so probably pay someone else to do it.

I usually have a lot of confidence in LG products. Have LG products in one of our properties and all have been reliable and lasted a long time. I received this washer yesterday. The tub smelled strongly of chemicals. Had to do about 5 loads before the chemical smell dissipated. Seems to get the clothes really clean though and gets out stains. The washer is no quiet at all. Really disappointed about that. Noisier than our old one.

Just get it. I bought these model to upgrade from a 13 year old LG washer and dry that never gave me any problems. From going to the new machines I can tell you its a huge difference . They are so much more quieter and do not shake at all. The AI learning Tech is amazing does everything for you and passes it on the dryer also the app connected to wifi is a game changer. I purchased this washer about 2 months ago and am impressed with its efficiency. The clothes come out very clean and spun. The only somewhat negative is that clothes seem to gravitate to the back of the drum so I need to bend more. Washer is on a pedestal so that isnt a big problem. Really like the washer and dryer.

Avoid this washer

We bought the matching washer dryer and pedestals at Home Depot on Memorial Day. The washer worked great for a week then began flooding my house. Home Depot came to inspect and found a large crack in an internal component a manufacturer defect. LG has since come to inspect twice failed to call or show up a third time and blames HD for poor installation. Now after 6 weeks of going to the laundromat we still have no resolution. We will never ever buy an LG brand of anything again.

So Far So good

We have had the washer for about a month now. Works well. I have not been terribly impressed by all the advertised great features though. It was more expensive than traditional washers but I think does pretty much the same job. Only time will tell if this was worth the money but I am hopeful.

Non reversible door

Its so quick quiet and smart

Absolutely adore this washer It has a big capacity so many different settings the perfect height for me and I love the ability to remote start it when Im on my way home so I can take the clothes out when its finished. I got a great deal on it at a local appliance store which makes me love it even more.

really nice and quiet with new technology

I bought a month ago. its world of difference with this one. has lot of options to choose washing setting. Its really quiet and with wifi control makes it accessible around the house which can be handy in situation. this size seems right for our family size.

Same features as the one I had for 16 years

I have the new wager and dryer only for a little over one month now and it works so far as good as the old one same model which did a great job for more than 16 years. I had a massage business and used the equipment every day. The heavy duty program did a great job on the oil and lotion in the sheets.

Such a Happy Washer/Dryer Combo

We purchased our LG washer and dryer in Black Steel earlier this spring and they are beautiful and wonderful. They clean clothes terrifically and they operate very quietly. At the end of their cycle a happy little tune plays. How could you not smile with that little tune? Truthfully wed prefer to hear something like a Bill Evans jazz number but the LG tune works well for the units. We recently purchased a pedestal stand also in Black Steel for both our washer and dryer. And we are soon relocating across country. The wife insisted the washer/dryer come with us and not be left as part of our home sale. Is there a stronger word than insisted? This washer/dryer set is an inseparable part of our family. We highly recommend this purchase to anyone. Sidebar: whomever delivers yours be sure to hold on to the bolts that secures the washer drum should you relocate. You need these to transport your washer safely. The firm that delivered ours inadvertently took the bolts. Luckily LG is such a wonderful company they sent us a spare set at no cost. How great is that?

We had to return this lg washer Serial # WM4000HBA because it leaked around the seal of the door. It was replaced with a new lg washer Serial #305TNHM00849 on 5-31-23. We love the new lg washer I swear my clothes come out cleaner and fresher.

Nice Machine App Not So Much

Love the capacity and all the cycle options especially the Allergiene. Wish that LG included a full hard copy of the user manual with the washer. The online PDF version provides far more useful info on the cycle options than either the quick start guide or the paper manual that came with the washer which seems far more focused on installation than use. As for the ThinQ app - its a pain to install locked up once had to re-install very complicated to add my devices despite being only 10 feet from my router and think that only the diagnosis function will be helpful.

Great Capacity and Super Useful Features

Had it now for about 45 days and cant stop being amazed. The download cycles feature allows for unlimited uses for all types of clothes. The capacity is huge and it is much quieter and quieter than our previous unit. The monthly maintenance is easy and not as intimidating as it may seem but I would recommend a larger bowl than the small one they recommend when performing. Highly recommend this product.

I am on my third of stackable washer and dryer. Im kind of a crazy laundry person. I like to always be caught up. I am in love with this set. They are so fast and I love all the options.
